INFOS ARTISTS: --- DRAVIER & RENE NAJERA (Seattle Improvised-Electronic-Music/JUNGLE GYM RECORDS) DRAVIER is sound artist Caleb Draves. A unique and prolific voice in the post-noise and ambient underground, Dravier has released over 20 albums on various boutique labels since the project’s inception in 2016, and heads both Jungle Gym Records and the TOURIST label. His free-form electronic synthscapes utilize cheap Casio keyboards, guitar pedals, samplers and cassette recorders, submerging listeners into a deep and lo-fi aquatic environment. As a DJ, Dravier weaves together the atmospheric tendencies of his production work with washed out house and off the cuff techno-inspired dance music. Carrigan made significant waves in the US underground scene with his debut cassette “Directions,” landing a European tour and vinyl repress in that same year. Preferring to play only live, Carrigan has since honed his performance skills all over the US, Europe and Canada, developing a completely fresh approach to improvised deep house and freeform lounge music. A prolific producer and engineer, Carrigan co-runs Jungle Gym Records, and has additionally released music on Always Human Tapes and Budget Cuts Tapes and Records.
